





A truly unique and memorable zoo experience working alongside the experienced bird keepers.
Your Birds of Prey Experience will start with welcome drinks in the Discovery Centre and then you will be taken to the Birds of Prey arena to enjoy an informative tour where you will see the variety of birds of prey, parrots, lorikeets and other exotic birds close up and learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. Once you have had a chance to discover all the different birds you will assist with the preparation of feeds. After your tour you will be able to participate with the handling and flying of a selection of the birds. Throughout the morning you will learn about the parks work with bird conservation, food, enrichment and welfare.
The Birds of Prey Experience lasts for approximately 2 hours. You can arrive early and stay late to enjoy the other attractions and animals at this fantastic zoo.
You will receive a souvenir T-shirt and a certificate to prove your incredible feat!
All of our gift experiences are presented in an attractive red case with "Congratulations - you are the lucky recipient of a Well Wicked experience day" written on the front. You will also get a DVD featuring many of our experiences. Experience vouchers can be personalised if required.
This animal experience lasts approx 2 hours but you are free to spend the whole day at this amazing zoo.

Guests are welcome to join you and will pay normal admission prices. You are welcome to arrive early and stay late to enjoy the other attractions.
This falconry experience is available daily throughout the year with the exception of Christmas Day. Experience runs from 11am - 1pm. Please note, free flying bird display is subject to weather.
There is wheelchair access to most enclosures visited during the experience.
The zoo itself is well equipped for people using wheelchairs. There are disabled parking bays near to the entrance. Most of the site is on level ground with tarmac pathways in most areas. There are right and left hand transfer toilets in the main car park and wheelchair accessible toilets on the main restaurant and on the Animal Park. The zoo also has wheelchairs for hire. There is also a special needs playground with a wheelchair swing, swings with harnesses and rockers. The whole area has a soft crumb play surface.
Most of our animal experiences are suitable for wheelchairs but please let us know in advance if you are a wheelchair user.
