Fancy a taste of the highlife? Experience a breathtaking cruise on this luxury powerboat. Soak up the atmosphere and lifestyle with the power of the engines as it propels you around the beautiful Solent. You really will feel like part of the rich elite.
Join us for 2½ round trip taking in all the sights, and you will also be given the opportunity to drive the boat at both fast and slow speeds.
Itinerary;
• Meet the Skipper and Crew outside the Banana Wharf Bar/Restaurant in Ocean Village Marina, Southampton
• We will then make our way to the luxury powerboat. Once settled onboard and after the safety briefing, the Skipper will take you through the marina where you will see other ‘millionaire lifestyle’ powerboats and yachts on their moorings
• Continuing with a cruise down the River Itchen to Southampton Water for the opportunity to see the magnificent cruise ships on their docks. At this stage, the Skipper will explain navigation and basic plotting techniques and answer any questions. All participants will get the option to have a drive at slow speed to get the feel of this luxury powerboat
• On reaching the open waters of The Solent where the speed restriction ends, the Skipper will open up the throttles for a “full-on” blast with speeds of up to 39 knots using the supercharged and turbocharged twin engines at 460HP to display the capabilities of this superb 40’ Sunseeker performance powerboat
• Then once again it’s ‘OVER TO YOU’ to take a turn at the helm to drive and feel the superb handling characteristics of this sleek powerboat at high speed whilst heading over to the Isle of Wight around the famous Bramble Bank towards Cowes the home of the world famous sailing regatta
• On reaching the Isle of Wight, the Skipper will cruise past the mouth of the River Medina (east and west Cowes) with time to take in the views and for each participant to have their photographs taken at the helm
• The fun continues, with more “full-on” thrills and a high speed blast back to Ocean Village Marina as we once again travel across the Solent and also the mouth of the famous River Hamble.
Sights to see during the experience:
QE2 dock, Netley Castle, Netley Park, Calshot Lifeboat Station, Calshot Castle, Spinnaker Tower, The River Hamble. Some of the cruise liners to look out for are: The new Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary 2, Oriana, Aurora and Independence of the Seas.

Availability
Available between April to October inclusive. Available most Saturdays and occasional Sundays.
Restrictions
Not suitable for anyone with a serious back or heart complaint, or for a pregnant women. Maximum weight of 16½ stone per person, no height restrictions. Minimum age of 7 years old. Please note, all children must wear a life jacket at all times (even on the pontoon). We regret no disabled person can participant due to access.
Dress code
Sunglasses, hat/cap, sun cream, camera and wear comfortable flat non slip footwear such as trainers or deck shoes. Dress warmly and bring waterproofs as there is a high wind chill factor aboard the boat.
Spectators
Spectators can wave off from the marina. There are many local attractions all within 5 minutes walk, 2 cinemas, museums, bars and restaurants and a shopping mall.
Other Details
This powerboat experience will be shared with up to 6 other participants plus 2 crew members (depending on your numbers). Insurance is included. This experience is weather dependent and could be cancelled due to bad weather, in this case we will arrange another date. There is a car park with security less than 120 metres from the boat, there are also a number of restaurants and bars within the marina. Parking is £1 per hour and the machine will only take £1 coins, please always allow for extra time.
