Have you got what it takes to balance a quad on a see-saw, or take it over "bone-shaker" hill? Our fantastic Quad Agility experience is quad biking based on skill and agility.
Being a low to mid speed track this is a very safe way of operating quad bikes, whilst being quite demandng (particularly to novices) and loads of fun. There are a range of obstacles including see saws, ramps, log rolls, and lots of landscaped ground to challenge participants.
Following a safety briefing and an introduction to the machines, you will first be sent around the flat course so that you can get the feel of the quads. After a couple of laps, the expert staff will indicate that you are ready to start attempting the obstacles.
You will be led out to the agility circuit by one of the experienced riders who will lead you round the track for a few laps before they pull into the pits and allow you to ride at your own pace (if they deem it safe to do so). Just imagine trying to control a quad bike on its brakes down a steep hill, while trying to turn a corner at the same time, through some muddy water at the bottom - and then climb back out with wet, muddy tyres. Having got that out of the way, it’s straight into one of the see-saws with a long drop on the far side! We should make it clear that the track sessions are not a race and there is a safe overtaking zone where slower riders can pull to one side.
No experience is necessary - if you can ride a bicycle you can ride a quad. The controls are very simple with the brakes being identical to a standard bicycle - left lever operates rear brake and right lever operates front brake. The accelerator is thumb operated and very easy to use.
All of our gift experiences are presented in an attractive red case with "Congratulations - you are the lucky recipient of a Well Wicked experience day" written on the front. You will also get a DVD featuring many of our experiences. Experience vouchers can be personalised if required.
This experience will last approx 40 minutes which includes signing in, safety briefing, kitting up, training and track session.
