A "traditional" hen and stag party consists of lots of drinking, gambling and going to a strip club! Nowadays however, the Stag Party is more of a "Stag Weekend", as is a hen weekend, with groups combining several different activities. These activities are then either crammed into one action packed day or even spread over a whole weekend or week!. These are often arranged by the best man, or occassionally the friend of the Groom who has the most extensive partying experience! Or for the Bride this is arranged by either the Maid of Honour or Bridesmaid. The full details are often kept secret from the hen and stag.

Traditionally, details of the stag and hen parties are often leaked during the best mans speech at the wedding, with photographic evidence occasionally being used to embarrass the Bride and Groom! The Groom will then "thank" the best man for organizing the activities and thank all others that came. The stag do is a very important part of getting married!
