Don your ‘biggles’ helmet and goggles and climb aboard the vintage Tiger Moth Bi-Plane for a nostalgic flight experience.
First flown in 1933 the Tiger Moth is known as ‘the classic’ biplane. You will fly in this open cockpit aircraft with fantastic views as the wind rushes over your face. Flying with an experienced vintage aircraft pilot instructor you will have the opportunity to take the controls and try your hand at being that 1940’s student pilot. What’s included: Pre-flight familiarisation and safety briefings, and this amazing once in a lifetime flight.
The experience includes entry to the superb Imperial War Museum at Duxford. A Tiger Moth Experience is the ultimate in flying experiences!
All of our gift experiences are presented in an attractive red case with "Congratulations - you are the lucky recipient of a Well Wicked experience day" written on the front. You will also get a DVD featuring many of our experiences. Experience vouchers can be personalised if required.
Flying experience times are either 15, 20 or 30 minutes. Allow at least 1 ½ hours in total.

As well as being an airfield, this airfield houses a huge collection of historical aircraft, together with an impressive land warfare exhibition. The collection covers 85 acres and includes such gems as Concorde, the Lancaster, the Blackbird, the Spitfire, the B17 and hundreds more. This is a day out in itself so leave plenty of time to look around. All flying experiences are subject to weather conditions. It is the pilot and the operator’s final decision if the experience should take place due to inclement weather conditions. Should your aviation experience be cancelled due to weather or a technical issue with the aircraft your experience will be re-booked on an alternative date.
